Amanda has worked with me for years and I was beyond excited when shortly after she got engaged she came to me wanting to do a bridal inspired boudoir session. She loved the idea of doing it outdoors and so I set up an appointment with my super secret outdoor location for her boudoir session!
She brought a lot of white and bridal inspired lingerie as well as a veil. Not the one she is wearing on her wedding day but it worked so well! Some of my favorites were at the end with the veil in the sun drenched field.
She kept mentioning to me that the sole reason she wanted to do this session was that she wanted a reminder of what she looked like pre-babies as she expected that they were not going to waste much time in trying to start a family. I love the assuredness that Amanda and in fact all my boudoir clients demonstrate at the session. They are so comfortable in their own skin and so confident. Truly one of the most female empowering type of sessions that I shoot.
Enjoy some of my favorites from this great Raleigh, NC bridal boudoir session!
Update : since I did this session and delivered the files (yes, I am a little behind in blogging) Amanda texted me to let me know that the boudoir session worked as a gift to her husband to be and she is now expecting! Congrats to you and your hubs on your upcoming wedding and as you add to your family. I only wish that you would be staying around as you celebrate these family milestones so I could capture them for you. Selfish; I know. Best of luck as you begin your new lives in Connecticut.
