Ashley & Devon : Chapel Hill and Durham, NC Engagement Photographer

Ashley and Devon met at UNC, where Devon’s fraternity brothers watched him fall in love with this gorgeous, long-legged woman.  The first thing I learned about their relationship is that they’re all about fun – they would spend afternoons on the lawn, playing cards and goofing around, and they laughed non-stop during our afternoon together.  Their wedding next year is going to be AMAZING… because I’m betting my last nickel they’ll infuse it with the sense of humor and love they had during our session.

Another great thing about these guys is that they’re willing to play with their photos – we spent hours wandering around both the UNC campus and Duke Gardens, and lately we’ve been discussing the different treatments we can apply to their photos in post-production.  I think digital photography, rather than being a replacement of film photography, is a whole new creature, one that’s been fun for Rebecca and me to explore and manipulate.  Here are a few shots from their session, treated in various methods – which one should we use for your next session?
