I love a good styled shoot – I hate, hate the wait to share. Especially when you are aiming for an exclusive publication for the shoot – then you REALLY can’t share anything and you have to be really careful about even behind the scenes snapshots and videos.
If ever there was a good representation of what happens when a fantastic group of vendors get together and make some lemonade out of lemons it is this shoot. In the days leading up to this shoot, the weatherman was calling for a TROPICAL STORM; Tropical Storm Hermine to be exact. It was not going to be pretty but at least by the time the storm reached the triangle the winds and rain would have died down to a tropical storm pace as opposed to hurricane force.
We had been planning this shoot for many months and well – nothing was going to stop us. Thankfully the farm – which I can imagine is very beautiful when it isn’t raining sideways – has a beautiful barn that we were able to use and it is also the rain plan for an actual wedding being held there so it worked out perfectly. We were able to show people what the backup plan is if it does rain on your wedding day. Since we always must have a backup plan – it worked out great!
We had the better part of a couple of hours for set up and then the models were ready!
I so love the styling of this shoot and every single vendor did a fantastic job!
The shoot has since been featured on Love, INC.’s blog which is why I can now share so make sure you check it out over there as well as some of my favorites over here!
