I have so enjoyed assisting Shannon with One Eleven Weddings at so many of her recent weddings. It really is a treat and we really work well together. I was so excited when she asked me to assist at Cassie and Kat’s Burlington wedding recently and even more exciting was it was on the heels of the passing of the Supreme courts’ ruling of passing that same sex marriages would be able to be performed in all states in the USA. As North Carolina had already passed the law, Cassie and Kat had already had plans in place for awhile to get married in NC, but the Supreme Court ruling shortly before their big day made this day twice as sweet.
Cassie and Kat married in a log cabin on a beautiful property outside of Burlington, NC. They were surrounded by supportive family and friends and had a very intimate but full wedding ceremony and reception. I loved that they were really up for lots and lots of portraits and we definately got a lot of those.
It was a fantastic day to be remebered and I loved everything about this same sex wedding in Burlington, NC.
