I met the Daluvoy family for some updated fall family portraits at one of my favorite portrait locations, The American Tobacco Campus in Durham. This is a great location. I can make each session look unique and different at this location. The kids were a little slow to warm up to me and picture time but we got some great shots after a few minutes of bonding/play time.
I had two sessions at different locations scheduled back to back with a 30 minute travel window in between so I was cutting it close but I always make time during the session for playing and bonding. It makes the relationship between me (and in turn the camera) and the kids so much better. They aren’t as afraid of this stranger with the weird big black thing on her face if they trust me as opposed to if we haven’t made the time for bonding.
Annie met this family last year for their fall portraits and I got to do it this year! I was so excited and so happy with the results!
Please enjoy a few of my favorites from this great Durham family portrait session!
