This. A whole mess of this. This.Is.Everything. I knew this was going to be a fantastic session from minute one of meeting Sandy and Allan that day at Raulston Arboretum. I didn’t know that I was going to be completely blown away by every single frame. I think I said at least a hundred time that they had to be professional models because it was so easy for both of them in front of the camera. It’s even a struggle for me when I am being photographed, but these guys made it easy.
I really loved that they were up for anything. And bonus when I noticed that Raulston had an unmanicured area with wildflowers and weeds growing – I said “there. Right there.” It was amazing and I was sad when I returned there the following week and the wildflowers had been mowed. I think I could hear every single photographer in the triangle screaming NOOOOOOO.
I was also so excited to recently meet their little one Jacob as he arrived 3 weeks early! There is a whole more mess of amazing coming up as I finally photographed a dad in his dress blues with a newborn as well as recently got a new newborn prop that I am super pumped that I added to the studio and photographed for the first time with Jacob!
Enjoy and stay tuned for baby Jacob to be on the blog soon!
