What a fantastic year 2014 has been. As this is a time for reflection, I can only think at about all the changes I went through myself as well as this company has. It has GROWN and I am so VERY THANKFUL. I can’t say it enough; I love my “job” and am so thankful to be able to do something that I LOVE and make a living doing it.
A huge opportunity fell into the proverbial Red Bridge lap in the late Summer of 2014. I was asked to not only advertise with Weddings Magazine; I was asked to shoot a huge feature for the magazine. It was a dream come true to be able to shoot the hair and make-up feature at Second Empire located in Downtown Raleigh in September. There of course is a TON of post production when it comes to putting together a magazine and so therefore, I had to wait a while to post this post. BUT the magazine is out. It is beautiful and I am so very happy with the 6 page hair and make-up feature in the magazine featuring the work of yours truly as well as a full page advertisement and a photographers spotlight section featuring Chris & Laurelin’s wedding party.
While we were featuring the hair and make-up of these great local talented artists, the amazingly beautiful jewelry as well as the venue – I got a chance to roam around and get lots of detail shots. First up in the slide show is the advertisement then the feature section that went to print and then a few of my favorite images from the day.
