Jack is 6! : Chapel Hill, NC Family Photographer

So many times I have met this family for a session and so many times I have the BEST time!  There is always a slight bit of chaos that goes into a session with 2 kiddos but in the chaos I am always extremely happy with the images that I get from my sessions with The Cleveland Family.  We got lucky in terms of weather for this family session because it was abnormally warmer than it normally is in January the day that we met at the Forest Theater on UNC Campus for this session.

UNC has such an important place in this families lives and so we try to always do something on UNC’s campus as it is so very important.  This time we went to the Forest Theater which is an outdoor amphitheater on the campus that is set on the side of a hill among a grove of trees.  It really was perfect for the early winter/late fall because the stone work coupled with the leaves that remained on the trees and those that had fallen – it really is the perfect fall location for a shoot.

It was also nice and sunny that day which helped keep us warm as well as running around and chasing the kids – we celebrated Jack’s birthday with some balloons and our best attempts at a confetti toss.  Some of my favorites ended up being from the time that the kids did some portraits with and without some winter hats that their mom brought a long.  They really got into the laughing in those and WOW some of my favorites for sure!
