What a perfect summer evening I had with these two. It was July and it sure didn’t feel like July NC weather. It was a little on the hot side because of the humidity but really we so lucked out with the perfection of a day we had on the friday evening we shot this session at Pullen Park.
Jennifer had requested Pullen Park because they had been there a lot a loved it and I knew it would be a crap shoot in terms of the crowds. Pullen is a very popular park to go to any day of the week but weekends it is swarming with people for the rides and walking around and the play sets so I knew that a Friday afternoon would be busy but boy we lucked out! I was shocked when for quite sometime I got BOTH bridges on the far side of the property empty of people and also they stayed that way for quite sometime so I could use them in the background of some more shots later in the session.
I LOVE the color that this park gives and coupled with dynamic relationship these two have this session was all sorts of amazing. I really look back at the images now and LOVE that it was so full of dynamic contrast and color.
Enjoy some of my favorites from this fantastic Pullen Park engagement session and be sure to check out some of the family photos that we shot with Evan who made some appearances during the session! Their wedding was all kinds of amazing too and that is going to be hitting the blog soon!
