Kathleen is a Mrs. and so NOW I can share her bridal session including everything Kathleen and THAT DRESS! Woah! What a dress! We were so excited to have shot Kathleen and Ben’s wedding at the end of June but at the end of May I shot her bridal session at the beautiful Jones Chapel at Meredith College as well as some important places around campus. We had two helpers in that of Maid of Honor and BFF Blair as well as mama Shirlene as we explored all through Jones Chapel and it’s campus and the Math and Science Building which is a very important place for Kathleen.
We also HAD to do a recreation picture of the EXACT same place in which mama Shirlene did her bridal portraits many moons ago. That’s right! Kathleen’s mom also went to Meredith and did her bridals on this beautiful campus and although some things around the area that she had in the framed portrait from had changed a bit, we were able to mimic the image in the current state of the campus. We came pretty close and I am super happy with the results of this session.
This was my first time shooting on this glorious campus and wow; it didn’t disappoint! It was a fantastic day – not too hot, not too cold and of course it was nice to have such a beautiful indoor chapel to also use as a backdrop. The pipe organ inside the chapel was also a very important part of the campus to Kathleen and also a central focus of the session.
I am so happy with how these images turned out and so very excited about their wedding. It was a great celebration and I am looking forward to sharing some favorites with you from that great day as well!
