I am so trying to get back on track with blogging after my many computer issues right in the middle of the fall photography rush end of last year! I really have been dying to share this perfection of an engagement session from the fall with you all!
I first met Kimberly years ago (I think 4 now?!?!) at Laurelin & Chris’ beautiful wedding at The Weymouth Center in Southern Pines, NC. That was pre-Andrew (at least I think it was because I don’t remember meeting him that day – so forgive me if I am wrong;)). I was SO THRILLED when they reached out about their wedding photography for a spring wedding at Childress Vinyard – where I have dying to shoot a wedding or event!
I met Kimberly and Andrew (aka Drew) in Downtown Hillsborough in the peak of the perfect fall colors! They live in Mebane and they drove through Hillsborough and thought that it would be the perfect place for an engagement session – and I agree! They brought along their dog to incorporate into their save the date and a few of their photos and then after a quick outfit change we went down to the riverwalk area and explored and chased the perfect light!
Literally we were chasing light as it set and it was AMAZING y’all! I had never been down to the riverwalk area but it surely did not disappoint! We even found one of the art/stick sculptures that are now in a few places around the triangle!
I love that Kimberly sported some red high heels for part of the session – y’all know how I feel about RED! HA!
Enjoy and stay tuned – their wedding at Childress Vinyard is THIS WEEKEND!
