Oh y’all; I don’t get to shoot boudoir often and I don’t always get to share the images but Madison gave me the approval to share so here ya go!
We photographed her bridal boudoir session as a wedding gift for her husband to be at the absolutely beautiful Mims House in Holly Springs, NC. We wanted a different venue than her wedding venue of the Sutherland just for some variety and well selfishly I really wanted to shoot a boudoir session here;) I have done a bridal session here for another client as well as some events but never a boudoir or a wedding (which I hope the wedding part will change soon) and I knew from first sight this place would be amazing for a boudoir.
We brought some different outfits and the rose petals to fill the tub. I thought it would be a compromise to the milk bath that we wanted to do but couldn’t since the tub isn’t actually connected to water or a drain – and the petals were perfect! Also, the bridal getting ready room and the living room downstairs are perfect backdrops for any session that you do there. It really is an awesome blank slate for many types of sessions and weddings.
Of course we had to also do some with her hubby-to-be’s fire attire because he IS a fireman and we also incorporated it into their engagement session a while back which part of was at his firehouse.
I love that Madison was up for anything and everything and I loved watching her face and of course his face when he opened the beautiful album that she gifted him as part of his wedding gift from her. This was a whole mess of epic y’all and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
