I had this recent baby boom in the studio and one thing that was for certain is that there were a lot more boys than girls BUT I was so glad that I had girls to put all the flowers, sparkle and princess twist on things. Ms. V’s session was all about purple which I LOVE to get away from pinks and use a different color palate. We did use one pink scarf during the session but otherwise it was purple, teal, white and then we also incorporated some family items into the session.
Ms. V’s parents had received a lot of handmade items as they were anticipating her arrival and we were able to use them as overlays and basket stuffers. I love the handmade rabbit that they brought. I can only imagine the time and patience required for that. They are also huge University of Georgia fans so we had some red and bulldogs in the session as well! Y’all know how I feel about red – I was only so happy to have some in the session.
This precious princess did arrive a little earlier than her due date and well it will always be a time her parents will remember I am for sure as she arrived right when they were in the middle of a move from Virginia to NC. I guess she was tired of waiting – but I was so happy that I was able to fit them in as the whole thing was a little last minute. She was 14 days old at the time of this session and I still had some time as she came early but geez – she did so fantastic I think we did it at the perfect time!
We even got some smiles and smirks! Y’all – I hope you enjoy all the purple and teal that Ms. V’s Raleigh newborn session has to bring!
