Raleigh/Wake Forest Homes : Raleigh & Wake Forest, NC Real Estate Photographer

A friend of mine is a Raleigh and Wake Forest, NC real estate agent and he is in the process of updating his website to a be all new and snazzy. He asked me to do something that I haven’t done in a really long time ~ shoot for myself essentially.

I estate agent friend gave me a list of places and a time line and said just go and take pictures. See what you see and put it in the camera. Knowing that he was using the images for an updated real estate site was very useful as then it geared me toward what I would like to see on a website if I were looking to buy a home. After all – you don’t just buy a home, you buy a town, your neighbors, the local grocery store and gas station. As I said years ago when I bought my first home – I am making memories people! There is so much needed to go into a new home, you never know until you are living in it that there are things that must be done! For instance, bathrooms, if not properly cared for, mold and mildew can take over! I went and looked at many (many) different shower places like www.glassshowerdirect.com to find a seamless shower so the mold had nowhere to go, so now something that was a fixer-upper is now beautiful and functional.

Raleigh and Wake Forest are truly very beautiful towns and the parks, downtown and common areas that he wanted photographed were easy. The hard ones were the neighborhoods that he frequents that he wanted images of.

It wasn’t just about one house, it was about the entire neighborhood and the challenge was to sell the neighborhood and the area to sell potential clients on the home and the wonderful real estate agent that could get them in that home. If you are searching for ‘real estate agents near me‘ then make sure you choose the right one that’ll find your dream home. The neighborhoods were a challenge for me to one – not feel like a creeper. Two – be in the moment of the neighborhood while not wandering far away from my car. Three – these were busy neighborhoods and the common areas that I wanted to photograph were swamped with cars so patience just like in my newborn sessions is critical.

He gave me a list and I did deter from in a little bit. I was in downtown Raleigh photographing Moore square as he requested and on my way to Falls Lake I drove around the Capital building. It was beautiful and empty! So I screeched my car into a parking space and captured a few images of the NC Capital as well as Hillsborough St. leading up to the capital.

My hands down favorite spot was Falls Lake on the Hwy 50 overpass. I timed it just perfectly for the sun. I had gone over this bridge a few times before but never had time to stop. This time it was my job! The sun was perfection and defiantly some of my favorite images. I also drove to downtown Wake Forest right before there was no more light and those turned out rally good as well.

If you are in the market for a real estate agent to buy or sell a home locally, I highly recommend my friend Warren Sumner with Raleigh and Wake Forest Home – Fonville Morisey Real Estate. He is a great friend and a fantastic real estate agent.

Enjoy a few of my favorites from my time around the triangle!
