Samuel William is Eight Months! : Raleigh, NC Baby Photographer

The monthly photo sessions for my nephew Sam have been a labor of love and his 8 month session was no exception.  I came up with so many ideas for his monthly photo sessions and this one was inspired by the colors in his nursery.  I found these adorable hot air balloons on Etsy and the vendor also happens to be located in NC!  Wood ‘N Nails do fantastic work and I ordered these hot air balloons custom from them a few months before the shoot.

I always like the idea of traveling and encouraging Sam to broaden his horizons and love, love, love hot air balloons so this was perfect for his 8 month session.  I also wanted to have him spell SAM with the letters like I do for ONE sessions but his patience was wearing thin and we were on a bit of a time crunch so we finished it and re-did it at his 9 month session a few weeks later.  This may be one of the shortest sessions that we did but you know when you get a session each month for the first year of your life, they don’t have to be real long.

My goal was to document his growth and progression through the stages which as he is crawling more we did!  I love some tummy time too and he rocked that as well!
