This spring Sarah and Donnie will be getting married at the beautiful Barclay Villa in Angier, NC and I am so pumped about it! I actually met Sarah and Donnie a few years back as Sarah was the maid of honor and is the sister of Laura whose beautiful marriage to Daryn I photographed at the Highgrove Estate. I was so excited when they reached out for me to be their wedding photographer!
They elected to do their engagement pictures at the very venue they would say their “I do”s and I am glad we did because this was my very first time here! This gave me a chance to explore the property before the wedding day and utilize places that we may not be able to utilize on the wedding day for pictures. I had been wanting to get out to this venue for sometime and am so excited and have SO many ideas for their wedding day pictures!
Barclay IS really the castle that it has been touted to be – on the outskirts of the greater Raleigh area, it is just close enough but not too far away and even better – it is actually really close to where Sarah and Donnie live. In a word perfect is the perfect word!
