It has been such an honor to see this family for the 3rd time in one year! I first met this family last fall as they were going to welcome Liliana to their family. A few short months later, I got to meet her for her newborn session! This session was supposed to have been her 6 month session, however we kept pushing it back so that we could get some perfect pictures of Ms. Liliana sitting upright.
All babies have their own little timeline in which they do things – and Liliana, well she wasn’t ready to be sitting up by 6 months. Instead, she decided she wanted to take a little longer. However, bearing in mind previous experience, that just means that within a month or two she will be walking. I guess we shall see on that one.
I met this family at a great local North Cary park that I actually shot at for the first time last fall. It is very cool. I love the bridges (duh!) and the random walkways and paths that we found this time. We definately ventured further out and we also had a “trust your photographer” moment in that after we did some pictures of the entire family and why, yes – Luca did look at the camera and smile at this session; I looked up and found the perfect little pocket of light shining through the trees. It was perfect for some portraits of mom and baby girl Liliana.
Then mom, myself and Liliana went exploring through the park and found an adorable light filled area for some pictures of just little Ms.
Ah, I do love seeing this family and I can’t wait to see them more as these kids grow!
