Topsail Road Trip: Max and Miles

Rebecca and I don’t get out much.  Our schedules are completely backward – when normal people are at work, we’re home, but when the rest of the world gets to go play, we punch our timecards and get to it.  So when a few families asked us if we’d travel to Topsail Island for family photo sessions, the answer was a resounding OH HECK YES.  Combining the work we love with a little sand and sun?  Yes please!

Ha.  When we arrived at our hotel, the first thing we saw was rainclouds.  The bad weather hung around, and threatened, and rained for five minutes but quit – it was crazy.  We were prepared to give up and spend two days in the hotel, doing worky/officey stuff.  One family rescheduled, but two stuck with it, and we are SO glad they did!  I’m posting one and Rebecca will post the other – for your viewing pleasure, here are two of my longest-running clients (and their parents, aunt, and grandparents) at the Surf City Pier.  Max and Miles are silly, funny, and energetic, and I think a wide open beach was just the place for them to run, play, and enjoy.

If you’d like to schedule a beach session, please let us know – because we have to pay some extra expenses, we like to plan at least three families per beach trip.  We have one more Topsail trip this weekend, but are happy to travel anywhere – we’re also headed to Bald Head and Wrightsville this summer, so let us know what your plans are, and we’ll load up the sunglasses and lens filters and meet you there!

Annie has been bringing my family to (happy) tears with amazing photos for years now, and I can’t imagine not having found her that first time! And on this trip, we finally got to meet Rebecca, too. Annie and Rebecca are both the perfect mix of fun and silly and professional and talented. This particular photo session was an absolute blast. Thanks, you two! We couldn’t love these any more!ReplyCancel
