Triangle NACE May meeting : The Glass Box Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer

The Triangle NACE is a networking group I recently joined that is a collaboration of special event professionals in the area. Really this is one of the two biggest networking groups in the area that wedding and event professionals are a part of. I am so glad I took the leap and I really dove right in! I was asked to be one of the photographers for their May meeting which was also a styled shoot but basically a styled shoot marathon!

There were 6 total groups with anywhere from 6 to 10 people in them all from different specialties in the event industry. They were given a theme and then an area in the The Glass Box and there were an assortment of flowers, table items as well as models and you could even ask them to change clothes. It was a bit chaotic but we had 10 minutes to style and 10 minutes to shoot including the models with posing and different positions around the table.

It was awesome and well – it’s what we do! It turned out fantastic and well hopefully you can tell by the pictures that they love what they do too!  AND the first grouping I photographed with a theme of “Romantic and Sweet” was selected by Weddings Magazine as their “winner!”  All the groups were fantastic and really we did this to challenge ourselves and it was fun in the process so we were all winners!
