Welcome, 2013: a Booth and a Big Kid

Well, hello, 2013!  We both came into January feeling well-rested after the holidays; I did a lot of traveling, and Rebecca spent time with her family right here in NC.  We didn’t have long to sit around and catch up on Downton, though – the annual Forever Bridal Show was on January 5 & 6, and we had a booth to set up!  We were really happy with the turnout and with the response to our offerings; sounds like y’all like how our “packages” are structured, and we’re happily adding consultations and weddings galore to the calendar.

Shortly after the show, I got to spend a morning with my friend Jack, who is turning a great big four years old this year.  Jack’s party was A-MAZ-ING – his parents rented space at his school in Chapel Hill and invited tons of friends to help celebrate… including members of the Chapel Hill Fire Department, complete with truck and turnout gear.  Jack was in seventh (fourth?) heaven, the firemen were rock stars, and the cupcakes were super yummy – what a great way to start off a new year of shoots, events, and the best job ever!
