Meeting Andrew’s mama was a chance encounter. She was a resident in the unit that I work in at a local hospital when she first found out that she was pregnant and thankfully one of my co-workers chimed in with a “Rebecca takes amazing newborn pictures! You should have her do your baby pictures when they arrive!” And thankfully, that is just what happened!
Andrew slept like a DREAM for a little bit and as what normally happens in each session; baby is tired of sleeping. Of course they need to be fed but most of the time there is a bit of a battle of wills between photographer and baby and they just need some awake time. Even after feeding and burping they are not in the mood for sleeping – they want to interact. So a little bit of interaction and rocking time better – BACK TO SLEEP!
Ah and then sleep he did! I ALMOST gave him sleeper of the year award because I was able to go right into shooting minutes after they arrived.
I am so happy with the results and he even let me do some poses (hands on the face) that I haven’t been able to get other little ones to hold long enough for me to even take a picture!
I hope you enjoy this fantastic Raleigh newborn session at the Red Bridge Raleigh Studio as much as I do and hope to see you again and again as you grow Andrew!
