Ooo I love a good in home newborn session; especially when you walk up the stairs of the house and see a HUGE bank of windows! I knew I would have to use that spot but we first started outside actually! It was a warm day and Lilly’s parent’s had requested one of my newest offerings with newborn photography – the flower hoop shot! I love it because the base never changes but the flowers around it I can make custom for each session to match the clients’ requests and color preferences. They asked for RED and well y’all know how I feel about red;)
I put the final edit of the image in here and her slideshow but in a separate post I will share the different steps that I went through to composite the image. Baby safety is paramount and while it may appear as if she is suspended from the tree sleeping peacefully – she is in fact safely protected with mom right at her side. Just check it out and you will see what I mean;)
We then did some of my favorite parent images ever and then went into the house! That bank of windows worked perfectly and then we went downstairs for the beanbag images where I set up my mobile studio in their dining room. Y’all – she is an absolute angel and a sweetie and she was perfect (well one explosive poop episode – but eh, it happens) and super sleepy and cooperative!
LOVE Lilly’s newborn session and hope to see her more as she grows!
